Seat in Coach (SIC) Tours - Advance Payment Basis

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Seat in Coach (SIC) tour packages booked through tatbooking.com. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms stated below.

01. Definition of SIC Tours

  1. Seat in Coach (SIC) tours are shared tours operated on fixed dates, itineraries, and schedules.
  2. Services are provided jointly to multiple clients traveling together in the same vehicle.

02. Booking Confirmation

  1. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  2. A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
  3. Tour details, inclusions, and exclusions will be communicated at the time of confirmation.

03. Pricing Policy

  1. SIC tour prices are calculated based on a minimum number of participants.
  2. The final tour price will be informed to clients after confirmation of the final pax count.
  3. Prices may vary depending on the number of participants, seasonality, fuel charges, hotel availability, or government taxes.

04. Payment Terms

  1. An advance payment is required to secure the booking and is generally non-refundable.
  2. If the group size does not exceed two (02) participants at least seven (07) days prior to the tour start date, the advance payment for those participants will be treated as refundable.
  3. For additional participants: Once the group size exceeds two (02) people the payment for each added participant is non-refundable.
  4. Important: Once the group size exceeds two (02) participants, the advance payment made for the first two (02) participants will also become non-refundable.
  5. Any payment gateway charges, bank processing fees, third-party fees, transaction charges, or currency conversion fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
  6. After confirmation of the final head count and disclosure of the final price, the balance payment must be settled no later than 07 days prior to the arrival date.
  7. Failure to complete the balance payment within the stated time frame may result in cancellation of the booking.
  8. Payment gateway or bank processing fees, any third-party fees, transaction charges, or currency conversion fees may be non-refundable.
  9. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  10. Refund processing time depends on the payment provider and banking channels.
  11. Our normal policy is that bank charges arising outside Sri Lanka is on account of the remitter.

05. Cancellation Policy

  1. Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing to webinfo@tatbooking.com
  2. The following is the standard cancellation policy. This will be varied according to the service, supplier, travel dates and hotel cancellation policies.
  3. Cancellation charges and refund eligibility are governed by the payment terms stated above and are applied based on the group size. [04. 2, 3, 4]
  4. If the client has paid the full amount the applicable advance payment will be deducted and any approved refund will be returned to the original payment method, subject to supplier conditions and refund policy.
  5. No refunds will be provided for unused services, no-shows, early departures, or missed tours due to personal reasons or delays.

06. Amendments

  1. Amendment requests must be submitted in writing to webinfo@tatbooking.com
  2. All amendments are subject to availability.
  3. Additional charges must be settled before amended services are confirmed.

07. Tour Operations and Scheduling

  1. SIC tours operate on fixed schedules and timing must be strictly adhered to.
  2. Delays caused by clients may affect the entire group and services missed due to late arrival will not be refunded.
  3. Pick-up and drop-off times are approximate and may vary due to traffic or operational conditions.

08. Client Responsibilities

  1. Clients must provide accurate personal and travel information at the time of booking.
  2. Clients are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and complying with local laws and regulations.
  3. Any damage caused to vehicles, hotels, or third-party property by a client will be charged directly to the client.

09. Force Majeure

  1. In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or events beyond our control, refunds or rescheduling will follow supplier policies.
  2. We will always try to offer the best possible alternative.

10. Notes

  1. We tatbooking.com would like to state that the Above Tour is strictly based on the Itinerary. We are not supposed to grant guests any other services outside the itinerary, if so, there will be a surcharge.
  2. tatbooking.com reserves the right to amend itineraries, accommodation, or transport due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances, while maintaining the overall tour experience.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

Fully Instant Bookings

01. Reservations

  1. All reservations made through tatbooking.com are instant and system-confirmed at the time of booking.
  2. A booking is considered confirmed only after successful payment and issuance of a confirmation voucher.
  3. All details entered at the time of booking, including guest names, travel dates, and service selections, are final and used for confirmation.
  4. tatbooking.com is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

02. Payment & Refund Policy

Please read carefully before completing your booking.

  1. Full payment is required at the time of booking for instant confirmation.
  2. Payments are processed via a secure online payment gateway.
  3. Once payment is successful, your booking is confirmed automatically and a confirmation email will be sent.
  4. Failure or interruption in payment may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.

03. Cancellation Policy

The following is the standard cancellation policy. This will be varied according to the service, supplier, travel dates and hotel cancellation policies.

  • Within 14 Days – 100% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Within 15-21 Days – 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Within 22-28 Days – 25% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Prior to 29 Days – No cancellations.
  • Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing to webinfo@tatbooking.com

     

04. Amendments

  2. All amendments are subject to availability.
  3. Price differences due to seasonal rates or supplier policies will apply.
  4. Additional charges must be settled before amended services are confirmed.

05. Refund Process

  1. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  2. Payment gateway or bank processing fees, any third-party fees, transaction charges, or currency conversion fees may be non-refundable.
  3. Refund processing time depends on the payment provider and banking channels.

06. Force Majeure

07. Important Notes

  1. Tours are operated strictly as per the confirmed itinerary. Services not included in the itinerary will incur additional charges.
  2. The itinerary and final price may change due to flight arrival or departure times. Any changes will be communicated once flights are confirmed.
  3. Our normal policy is that bank charges arising outside Sri Lanka is on account of the remitter.
  4. By completing a booking, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
