Nestled in Nuwara Eliya, this is the only temple in the world dedicated to Sita, heroine of the Indian epic Ramayana. According to legend, this is where Ravana kept Sitha captive, and the nearby stream is believed to be where she bathed. The temple, with statues of Rama, Sitha, Hanuman, and others, is a spiritual gem tucked amid cool hill country tea estates and misty mountains.
